Profile of Current Principal
Dr. Jagruti Kamlesh Patel M.Sc, LL.M., PGDHRL (NLSIU), Ph.D.(Law)has been In-Charge Principal since 1st December 1999,and been appointed as Principal, since 10th February 2009. She is unanimously elected Dean, Faculty of Law, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University since July 2006.She is a member of the academic bodies of the Universities, namely the University Senate, the Academic Council, the Board of University Teaching, the Board of Studies in Law and the Law Faculty. She renderes services in various committees constituted by the University.
She is post-graduate examiner and a Ph.D. (ExternalReferee) Viva Examiner for several Universities within and outside the Gujarat State namely the National Law School of India University and the Nagpur University and M.S.University of Baroda at Vadodara.
She is on the Selection Panel of several Universities as Expert for appointments of Professors /associates professors / assistant professors namely the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Gandhinagar and the M.S.University Baroda at Vadodara.
She is currently member of the Research and Recognition Committee, Faculty of Law, Symbiosis International University, Pune.
She is closely associated with the Gujarat Public Service Commission Examinations (GPSC) and the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET).
She has been invited to deliver lectures in universities like the Nirma University, Ahmedabad.She attends participates and presents papers in numerous state, national and international seminars and conferences.
